Hi everyone, We have an important announcement to make. Bobabeam is being wound down & will no longer be available, starting May 25th. For users of Bobabeam or Bobabeam applications you will need to transfer all your assets to Moonbeam mainnet before May 15th or risk permanently losing access to any assets on Bobabeam. Bobabeam was Boba Network’s Layer 2 scaling solution on Moonbeam & the first of its kind in the ecosystem. The root cause of the recent Moonbeam blockchain production issue has been identified and the team has deployed a solution in the form of a client upgrade. Moonbeam is now producing blocks. Block production will continue to ramp up as all nodes update to the latest version, 0.30.3.

The Moonbeam network is experiencing block production issues following the runtime upgrade 2201, starting at around 10:45AM ET. The issue is being investigated. Further updates will be posted as more information becomes available. The Moonriver network is not affected by this issue.

🚨 A smart contract issue was reported to the Moonbeam Foundation that enabled a user to withdraw an improper amount of USDC from Moonbeam. We are happy to report that the improperly moved funds have been returned thanks to the work of Moonbeam community members. The vulnerable contracts have been paused to prevent exploits. S/O to the Multichain & Equilibrium teams for identifying the incident and working together to resolve it. Extreme thanks to Ron Brown for his assistance in helping to remedy the issue. The owners of the affected smart contracts are working on upgrades to unpause and resume normal operation. The issue did not affect Moonriver.
