The issue on Kusama was resolved at today ~17:29 UTC and Moonriver is now producing blocks 🎉 The Kusama community passed an update through governance that unfroze block production and allowed all parachains to resume operation. Thanks to Kusama’s governance model, this fix was executed immediately and automatically following its passage via OpenGov. For the Moonriver community, aside from the gap in block production, the issue is resolved and there is no ongoing impact. 🚨 On Friday, September 1 2023, at ~06:17 UTC, a block dispute on Kusama halted the production of blocks on all Kusama parachains, including Moonriver. The Polkadot Technical Fellowship, the Parity Infrastructure team and the Moonriver team are investigating the issue. There is no currently no ETA to service recovery. We will inform you once Moonriver is back online.
